MFC Does The Apprentice
BORO captain George Boateng will be joined by former player Gary Gill and children's TV presenter Kirsten O'Brien when MFC does The Apprentice at the Riverside Stadium.
The trio will join forces to judge football boots designed by Teesside pupils attending a course with Middlesbrough Football Club's innovative Enterprise Academy.
The exciting challenge is the latest stage of the Premier League's flagship community programme, Creating Chances.
Boro supporter Kirsten, who was born in Middlesbrough and went to school in Nunthorpe, is one of the national ambassadors for Creating Chances, which involves clubs and players taking part in a series of community initiatives across the country.
A presenter for BBC programmes like Smile, Smart and Totally Dr Who, Kirsten will be joined on the judging panel by Boateng and Gill, who is the expert summariser for Boro commentaries on BBC Tees.

"MFC does The Apprentice" will challenge groups of Teesside's secondary school students to follow in the footsteps of TV's The Apprentice star Alan Sugar and Boro's own chairman Steve Gibson in showing great enterprise.
Teams of five Year 10 students from four local secondary schools will be asked to design and advertise a new boot for Boro's midfield enforcer, Boateng
Under the guidance of tutors from Boro's Enterprise Academy, the pupils - from Ormesby, St David's, Eston Park, Blakeston and Conyers schools - will be challenged to enhance a plain pair of football boots into Boateng's "dream boots" during four 10-minute rounds.

Assisted by Kirsten and Gary, George will quiz each group in the pressure cooker atmosphere of the MFC Boardroom before eliminating one group at the end of each round with the words "You're Fired!"
He will finally say the words "You're Hired" to the winning team, who will present their boots to George in return for a pair of his own boots as their trophy prize.

As part of Middlesbrough Football Club in the Community, the Enterprise Academy has delivered the prospering course throughout the Tees Valley since 2002.Tutors on the groundbreaking programme have used the Middlesbrough Football Club model to inspire Tees Valley students and help them 'switch on' to the topics of business, enterprise and self-employment.
More than 25,000 young people have already benefited from the mentoring, exciting activities and accredited courses on offer.
The Premier League is donating £1m to charities and good causes throughout the country via the Creating Chances initiative. Middlesbrough Football Club chose 25 good causes to receive £2,000 each, while players are making personal appearances in support of eight different causes over a three-week period.
