WORKED with the full England squad under Graham Taylor and joined Boro from Aston Villa in 2001.

He also has considerable coaching experience at Watford, Millwall, Crystal Palace, Wolves and Preston.

As a player, he appeared for Blackpool, Vancouver Whitecaps, Watford and Charlton.
