BORO LADIES have the chance to lift their first silverware of the season after a brilliant run to the North Riding County FA Women's Cup final.

Marrie Wieczorek's team  will be hoping for cup glory against York City LFC and being their first game in three weeks, the players should be fighting fit.

The game will be played at the NRCFA's County pitch in Stokesley on on Wednesday April 2, with the kick-off to be confirmed.

There is good news ahead of the tie as Becky O'Brien came through 70 minutes against Leeds unscathed and is hoping to build on her fitness.

Gemma Gibson suffered a foot injury in the same game and is now making steady progress, as is Kate Foster who had a minor knee injury.

The weekend's game against Bradford City LFC was cancelled after heavy downpours made the pitch unplayable.

MSV Player of the Month was Sally Mullin.

The Ladies' next league fixture is a visit to Peterlee on Sunday April 6.
