News of the World: "Reading midfielder James Harper is set to become Middlesbrough's first summer signing.
"Boro boss Gareth Southgate is desperate for an attacking midfielder and is ready to make a £2m bid.

"The former Arsenal trainee was virtually an ever present for Steve Coppell's side last season and scored six goals - one of them against Boro"
The Star: "Middlesbrough are eyeing Bolton keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen to replace Mark Schwarzer.
"The Finn, 34, will leave on a free this summer, although Wanderers have opened talks on a new deal in a bid to keep him."
The Star: "Hull boss Phil Brown will turn to Aston Villa misfit Marlon Harewood, 27, if he fails to lure Fraizer Campbell back to the KC Stadium.

Internet Reports: Boro boss Gareth Southgate is being linked with a move for Reading centre-half Ibrahima Sonko. The 27-year-old defender had a fall out with Steve Coppell last season after refusing to turn out for the Reserves. Southgate has been linked with a £2m move for the Senegal defender.
