THIS is the first time the two sides have ever met competitively in Boro's 132-year history and Yeovil Town's 112-year existence.
Yeovil beat Championship side Charlton Athletic 1-0 to progress to the second round of this year's Carling Cup.
They drew 1-1 with Leeds United on Saturday, maintaining their unbeaten record to the 2008/09 season and after three games, the Somerset side are sitting comfortably in fourth place in League One.
Russell Slade's side have scored in every game they have played in so far this season.

Asmir Begovic, on loan from Portsmouth, is unavailable to play in domestic cup competitions as part of the agreement.

Days earlier Boro had appeared at Wembley in the FA Cup final and subsequently they fielded a weakened side.
The game had long been planned before Boro's amazing cup-run in the 96/97 season and was a testimonial for Glovers' manager Graham Roberts.
Paul Connor, a reserve team striker at the time, scored four goals after Chris Freestone opened the scoring for Boro at Huish Park. Yeovil's goals came courtesy of Howard Forinton and guest John Spencer.

Mr Mathieson is an experienced official from the lower divisions, having never officiated at anything higher than Championship level.
This season he has been in the middle for three games, most recently on Saturday at Bloomfield Road where Blackpool went down 3-1 to Sheffield United.
In those three games Mr Mathieson has only shown four yellow cards in total.
