BORO have this afternoon agreed a fee with Everton for striker Yakubu.

The 24-year-old Nigerian international has now been given permission to talk with the Merseyside club.

Yakubu joined Boro from Portsmouth two years ago for £7.5m and has since scored 35 goals in 103 appearances.
