Catts Got The Cream!
LEE CATTERMOLE reveals he is setting his standards ever higher in an exclusive interview in today's award-winning matchday programme, Redsquare.
In a three-page feature, 18-year-old Cattermole says: "It's been an amazing year but I realise I can't afford to stand still.
"People expect so much more of me now. When you set yourself standards, you have to live by them - and mine have always been high.
"I'm doing the same sort of things that I did last season but I don't get the rave reviews now.
"I'm aware of the expectations, but that comes with progress and it's something that players like Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard have had to live with over the years."
Young fans will enjoy the pull-out poster of Cattermole, though older supporters may prefer the other side - featuring Boro's best wingers of the last 20 years, including Stewart Downing, Stuart Ripley, John Hendrie and Geremi.
Other highlights of Redsquare against Manchester United are:
*Boro keeper coach Paul Barron on why Mark Schwarzer doesn't get the credit he deserves.
*Chief executive Keith Lamb expressing his thoughts on how falling attendances are a problem for the entire Premier League.
*Grangetown-born funnyman Roy Chubby Brown on his love for the Boro.
*Richard Piers Rayner's superb colour painting of Boro's George Smith, Bill Gates and Frank Spraggon trying to close down George Best when Manchester United came to town for an FA Cup tie in 1970.
*A two-page feature on Boro's greatest results against United - recalling last season's 4-1 win home win and the victories at Old Trafford in 1998, 2002 and 2004.
