YOU'VE been sending in songs for Boro's new boy from Brazil by the bucketload over the few days and we've picked our top 10.

The Boro website has built up quite an international following and Nick Budniewski from Buffalo, USA sent us that. It's simple and snappy and certainly fits the bill.

And he's scoring at the Riverside

Three fans all sent us variations on this one - thanks to Chris Mac, Stephen Pell and Dean Jones.

4. To the tune of school assembly favourite Lord of the Dance

And we'll take you down to the River Tees

Matthew Nixon's only 15 but he's had a go and a good effort, we think.

5. To the theme tune for TV's Happy Days

He's gonna score today against you!

Richard Clark and a Boro Fan Abroad both sent us in versions of Happy Days, playing on Alves getting the nickname The Fonz given by some of the media.

6. To the tune of Cecilia by Suggs (or Simon and Garfunkel if you'd prefer!)

We've not had a song to this tune since the days of Gianluca Festa, could it be time for a return? Mark Bray sent that one in.

Another contemporary song, this time from Boro fan Rob Flynn.

This one was the fans choice against Fulham on Afonso's debut. Is it here to stay?

10. To the tune of another kids' favourite, Michael Finnigan

Last, but by no means least, comes Callum Dalton with this great effort.

Thanks to everyone who sent in their ideas, we received loads of entries and whittling them down to a top 10 was no easy task!
